Welcome to Schitt's Creek - Where everyone fits in

A Message From the mayor

ROLAND N. SCHITT - Mayor of Schitt's Creek

Well hello there! My name is Roland Schitt and as Mayor of Schitt's Creek, it is my pleasure to welcome you by writing this website blurb. And if I take a little extra honey from the town pot for my trouble, I don't think anyone will complain.

Now don't be intimidated. I'm not one of those hoity-toity, high and mighty, tuck-in-your pants kind of mayors. I like the townspeople to think of me more as a fun uncle, and this uncle isn't above coming over and sharing one of your beers with you. I'm not even above crashing on your couch for the night, so long as there's no funny business. I'm happily married to my beautiful wife Jocelyn – love you, Babe! – so my days of shaking "hands" and kissing "babies" are long behind me.

This town has been in my family for a lot of years, so it was truly an honor to rise to the position of mayor unopposed. As the old Schitt's Creek saying goes: "Who needs elections when you keep having sons?" Like the many Schitts before me, I take my responsibility to the townspeople very seriously, so I always say that anyone is welcome to drop by anytime with a donation. Hope to see you soon!

Town owners move in

The illustrious Rose family, owners of Schitt's Creek, have arrived in style! Having lost their fortune to a crooked business manager, they've arrived in significantly less style than they had before, but they still look great to us! Some residents have overheard the Roses referring to our town as a "cesspool." But we know they're down on their luck, so let's all make some room in that pool! The water's fine!
(Reminder: the water in Schitt's Creek is not safe for drinking.)

A former video store magnate, a former soap star, a former New York gallerist, and a girl, who's beautiful. The Roses are the most exciting thing to happen to Schitt's Creek since the Haunted Traffic Light of '96. Along with their harrowing tale of riches to rags misfortune, this tight-knit family brings a much- appreciated elegance to the town. What else can we learn from the Roses?
